引子

大千世界，无不持载，无不覆帱。自寒武纪，中至三叠纪，末临古近纪。参天地日月之化，妖、精、鬼、怪并起。

其首曰妖之，人之假造为妖。多娇，多艳。外华光四照，迷魂摄魄。又内通晓人言，好惑众。载出载入，弃常异也。

次曰精之，物之性灵为精。或凶，或吉。纯粹自然至者，称灵。然灵根混沌残缺，趋恶。本质所向，已难变。

曰鬼之，魂不散为鬼。时虚，时幻。如雾无形，阴晦。又为魑魅魍魉，各具心肠。常状丑劣，居山野，凡属皆从邪。

再曰怪之，物之奇异为怪。必奇，必异。形神变化于外，诡谲。又显青赤白黑黄，五心六意。斑驳陆离，不沾五事。

妖、精、鬼、怪于天地所生，古今所传，寓于寻常之中，塞乎天地六合之间，其物皆怪形，恐有唯圣人能通其道矣。
